Things are looking up! I had 2 job interviews this month and will be getting an offer next week!!!

I just finished The Very Hungry Caterpillar Softie. I will be giving it to my niece for her 2nd birthday and I can't wait to give it to her. I got the free tutorial from http://craftblog.com.au/2009/04/04/caterpillar-softie-tutorial/. The instructions are not very specific but it still turned out cute. I do suggest creating your own feet (maybe sew and stuff some black solid cotton) and making them a lot smaller than the pattern calls for. Thank you craftblog for the tutorial!

Life Trek Entry - Day 1

Well, I guess I am jumping on the BlogWagon. I'm not really sure if I am going to have daily topics interesting enough for anyone to follow me, but Hey, who knows. I have spent the ENTIRE day unpacking the rest of my apartment. I have finally settled into a place for (hopefully) more than 6 months. This place has lots of storage for my new hobby, which is great for me because I have lots of crap. You know, I have moved 4 times in the past 12 months and every time I get rid of a TON of stuff (or so it seems). And yet, I always seems to end up in the same position. Sitting on the floor of my apartment, surrounded by my "belongings" wondering where it all came from!

Okay, enough of that. My intention with my new found Blogdom, is to create a place where I can share my wisdom as well as obtain wisdom from others. I am a degreed, passionate Interior Designer (well technically Decorator) and love to help others make their home a reflection of who they are. I am also very new to the homemade/craft/sewing world and would love to meet people who can share their expertise.

I'm rambling. Enough for today. Come back tomorrow and I will put up some of my recent work (well, hopefully tomorrow, if I even remember I started this thing). Good night and...yeah, that's all I got.
